The first part of December, we went to Utah to attend my Mom's funeral.  I want to thank all family members that made this possible.

Xzander's 2nd Birthday Celebration: March 12, 2012

We had to celebrate Xzander's birthday later.  I think part of the reason was Devan was out of town.

Geric's Asthma Scare

Late night on March 10, 2012 Geric was struggling to breath.  I took him to the ER  around ten that night and his oxygen level was at a 94.  I cannot remember how many breathing treatments they gave him.  Finally around one in the morning they admitted him over night to monitor him and make sure he improved and that there were no other complications.  Even though this was his one and only episode of an attack, they are calling it asthma.  He has spring time allergies and I believe it was allergy induced and that he does not have chronic asthma.  He was finally released from the hospital at noon they next day.  Here is him being a big boy and doing his breathing treatments at home.

Xzander's Birthday: March 5, 2012

Xzander is a sweet little boy, full of life.  He closely watches his siblings and sometimes follows what they do.  He is into EVERYTHING!!!  All those stories about two year olds throwing things in the toilet and what not, I really didn't believe it all that much because my first four didn't do those kind of things.  He DOES!!!!  He has an incredible charm and when he smiles, he just melts my heart.  He is an extremely affectionate child and I love it!  I love his tight squeezes and kisses.  Xzander is mostly Geric's shadow.  They love each other and will play well together at times.

Polar Bears: February 22, 2012

We had some warm days in February and the kids kept pestering us to let them go swimming.  We kept telling them it was too cold to go, but the pestering still continued so we finally gave in, thinking they wouldn't want to keep swimming, We were wrong.

Playing Ball: December 27, 2011

We got a really good deal on some high end baseball gloves so we bought a few.  Little Devan asked for baseball stuff for Christmas.  Dad and Devan were outside playing catch, but once again didn't take as many pictures as I should have.

We had a great Christmas this year.  Once again we were spoiled with generosity from others and are extremely grateful for those who helped us with the kids having an awesome Christmas, as Devan was still working part time at the jail.
